Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately three hours, giving you plenty of time to eat, walk, and explore Ybor without feeling rushed.

How much walking is involved?
This is a walking tour through Ybor City’s historic streets and neighborhood corners. The pace is relaxed, with frequent stops for food, stories, and breaks along the way.

Are alcoholic beverages included?
Food tastings are included in your ticket. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the tour price, but they are available for purchase at select restaurant partner stops.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes — with advance notice, we can accommodate vegan and gluten-free options for an additional upcharge. Because tastings are prepared by our partner eateries, substitutions must be planned ahead.

Is this tour good for locals?
Absolutely. In many ways, the tour is even better for locals — many guests who have walked these streets for years tell us they finally understand how significant Ybor City is to the history of Tampa.

Will the tour go to the Columbia Restaurant?
Yes, but only on private tours. The Columbia Restaurant is a historic Ybor landmark, and private groups can arrange a visit or tasting as part of a customized experience.

Where should I park for the tour?
There is no free parking in Ybor City. The most convenient option is the Centro Ybor Parking Garage, located at 1500 E. 5th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605.

Where do we meet and when should I arrive?
Tours meet by the statue of Vicente Martinez Ybor at Centro Ybor, near El Centro Español de Tampa, Tap House Ybor and Jimmy John's (1600 E 7th Ave E-113, Tampa, FL 33605 ). Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for check-in.

What should I bring or wear?
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Ybor’s brick streets are part of the experience.

What happens if it rains?
Tours run rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, we’ll contact guests directly with any updates.
